Blanson Ltd. specialises in the production of pressure rated
cast acrylic tubes/columns of up to 2m internal diameter or
2.3m length.
Tubes, domes and rods can be manufactured to very tight tolerances
and pressure ratings to meet high specification chemical and
industrial needs.
All our systems are approved to ISO 9001-2000
standards.
Our acrylic windows for pressure vessel applications have
DNV approval.
Quality
The high quality of our products is due to our control of
all stages of the manufacturing cycle, with >99% of our
processes being carried out “in-house” under our
tight QC monitoring.
- Our own dedicated “Clean-Room” casting facility,
moulds, autoclaves & ovens.
- Air-bearing lathes.
- CNC Machining centres and 2.4 metre vertical boring machine.
- Diamond tipped and specially designed cutters.
- Automatic polishing equipment – with fitments dedicated
to specific diameters of lens/dome to minimise/eliminate
distortion.
- But mostly our quality is due to our skilled engineers
and polishers who know about acrylic, how to normalise,
machine and anneal it correctly.
