For the pharmaceutical sector, Blanson manufactures a biopharmaceutical grade acrylic that is common for all products sizes, thus no material revalidation is required when in scaling up production.
Blanson conducts independent material testing on a monthly basis to ensure casting quality is maintained and mechanical strength meets or exceeds regulatory requirements. Tests results are held for up to twenty years, depending on industry requirements.
Blanson sits on the committee of the ASME Safety Standard for Pressure Vessels for Human Occupancy (PVHO-1) to develop standards for the design, fabrication, inspection, testing, marking, and stamping of PVHO acrylic windows.
